Fitness Personal Trainer Needed in Calgary, Canada

A Fitness Personal Trainer is a professional who provides individualized fitness instruction and guidance to clients. They work with clients to create and implement personalized exercise programs based on the client’s fitness level, goals, and interests.

The trainer also provides education on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and injury prevention to help clients achieve their fitness goals in a safe and effective manner. Additionally, the Fitness Personal Trainer may monitor progress and adjust the training program as needed to ensure continued improvement.

Job Description

Status: Full Time

Reporting To: Fitness Manager

Hours of Work: Varied shifts

Location: Edmonton, AB

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current Personal Training Certification Required
  • Two years of related experience, preferred
  • Current CPR Certification within the last year
  • Possess excellent customer service, teaching and interpersonal relations skills

Conditions of Employment

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • personal training: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CPR and Level C AED (preferred)
  • Certified Personal Trainer (required)

Work Location: In person
