  • The association will fund the awardee’s travel expenses to the United Kingdom for study, and when returning, travel expenses will be covered. Please note that travel expenses will be for the awardee only.
  • Applicants’ tuition fees and examination fees will be covered by the body.
  • Applicants will benefit from the stipends given, which will cover the living allowance at the rate of 1,133 pounds per month.
  • Applicants will also get a study grant towards the costs of study-related travel within the United Kingdom and overseas.
  • Applicants will get a warm clothing allowance, where applicable.
  • Applicants will receive a Thesis grant towards the cost of preparing a thesis or dissertation, where applicable.
  • Applicants who are applying for a PhD will be paid mid-term for a visit to their home country (unless they have claimed, or intend to claim, spouse and/or child allowances during their scholarship or have received a return airfare to your home country for fieldwork).
  • Applicants who are applying for a Ph.D. will be awarded a fieldwork grant towards the cost of fieldwork undertaken overseas (usually the cost of one economy class return airfare to their fieldwork location), where approved.
